It is the intention, when a Traditional Explorer group is organized, that all sections be offered - Otters, Timber Wolves, Explorers, Senior Explorers and Rover Knights. During the start up of a group, often this is not practical, and some groups will start with one or more sections and add sections as community demand and leadership grows. |
Otters are the youngest section in our Association. Boys and girls joining between 5 and 7 years of age, moving to the Timber Wolf Pack after that. The unit is known as an “Otter Den". Otters learn useful family and community skills, while learning to play safely together. |
